We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to coordinate the day-to-day operation of our warehouse within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will take ownership of warehouse performance, stock accuracy, operational compliance, and team organisation.
Acting as the key liaison between Supply Chain, Production, and Goods Out, you will ensure the smooth flow of materials and finished products throughout the business while maintaining the highest standards of safety, food safety, efficiency, and customer service.
Our team works across staggered shift patterns, typically operating in highly focused pairs (2 people per shift).
You will act as the vital link between the warehouse floor and senior management, taking full responsibility for shift continuity, performance, and workplace safety.
This role requires a strong operational leader who is comfortable working on the warehouse floor, supporting teams, resolving issues in real time, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
About the Role: Key Responsibilities: · Lead and supervise all daily Goods Out operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch of goods.
- Act as the primary operational link between Supply Chain, Production, and Goods Out to ensure seamless execution of the production and distribution plan.
- Plan labour requirements and staff rotas to meet operational demands while ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
- Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy through effective stock control processes, stock counts, and investigation of stock discrepancies.
- Ensure full compliance with warehouse procedures, product traceability requirements, quality standards, and GMP requirements.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with all company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor warehouse performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, service levels, stock accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across warehouse processes, layouts, systems, and working practices.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, equipment breakdown/repairs, servicing schedules, and operational asset management.
- Support business growth through effective resource planning, process optimisation, and operational problem-solving.
- Maintain a visible presence within the warehouse, providing leadership, guidance, and escalation support to the team.
About You Essential skills and experience
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory, coordination, or management role.
- Valid, in-date Forklift Truck license. (FLT)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and coordinate warehouse teams.
- Experience overseeing warehouse operations within a fast-paced FMCG, food manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Strong stock control and inventory management experience.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and build strong working relationships.
- Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and warehouse best practice.
- A proactive, hands-on management style with the ability to lead from the front.
Desirable skills and experience
WMS or TMS user.
Capable of building or contributing to a Logistics Strategic vision.
Ability to communicate in French to facilitate working with some of the sites within the Brioche Pasquier Group.
