Our Goods In/Out Operatives form a crucial part of the production process as they ensure our finished Brioche products are loaded onto hauliers’ lorries and distributed to our clients across the country. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate an understanding of complex and fast-moving environments, whilst having a keen eye for detail and appropriate hygiene standards.

Hours: Monday 16:00 to 01:00; Tuesday/Wednesday 17:00 to 02:00; Saturday 17:00 to 00:00; Sunday 17:00 to 02:00. However, flexibility may be needed depending on operational needs in line with a 24-hour business and you will eventually move to a Continental Shift Pattern of 4 on/4 off 12 hours shifts.

About the Role:

  • Load and unload containers, lorries or vans in a safe manner.
  • Receive, check, sort and store incoming deliveries, ranging from raw materials and finished products to machinery and spare parts.
  • Stack packaged items in storage areas or on delivery pallets using appropriate mechanical handling equipment that you are trained to use.
  • Maintain a high level of hygiene and safety through regular cleaning as you go, good housekeeping and proper waste disposal.

About You:

  • A valid forklift and ride-on truck licence/certificate is an advantage, but training can be provided internally.
  • Have a flexible ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Enjoy working and contributing to a team.
  • Have a keen eye for detail.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
