Brio Retirement Living is a growing business building new retirement communities in desirable locations across the UK. We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our Chapelton, Stonehaven team (AB39 3PH). As part of our onsite Concierge Team, the Housekeeping Assistant will play a vital part in ensuring all parts of our communities are well presented and maintained.
Your role will include general cleaning (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming) of designated communal areas, back‑of‑house and apartment blocks, ensuring they remain clean and tidy at all times. Note: This is a 10‑hour per week role – 5 days a week, 2 hours a day, either 7–9 am or 5–7 pm. We are committed to a safe working environment, so a basic DBS check is mandatory.
Responsibilities- General cleaning (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming) of communal areas, back‑of‑house and apartment blocks.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness at all times to provide a positive first impression for residents and guests.
- We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic applicants with a proven track record of delivering the highest levels of customer service.
- You should have exemplary levels of cleanliness and be able to spot messes that others can't.
- Awareness of Health and Safety, COSHH regulations, safe working practices and chemical handling is essential.
- Basic IT skills are required to carry out day‑to‑day tasks, and a good telephone manner with a keen eye for detail is important.
