Job Purpose
To plan, organise and deliver engaging Cheerleading, Dance and Musical Theatre sessions as part of the HAF programme, creating a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for children and young people. To support the wider delivery of HAF Sports Camps, ensuring high-quality provision in line with Company operating procedures, safeguarding requirements and health & safety legislation.
Main Responsibilities
- To plan, organise and deliver structured Cheerleading, Dance and Musical Theatre sessions for children of varying ages and abilities.
- To lead HAF Cheer, Dance and Musical Theatre camps during school holiday periods.
- To create a safe, inclusive and positive environment where children can develop confidence, creativity, teamwork and performance skills.
- To choreograph routines and support performances where appropriate.
- To support the delivery of wider HAF Sports Camps, including multi-sport activities and games as required.
- To supervise children at all times, ensuring behaviour is managed positively and in accordance with Company policies.
- To build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
- To assist with camp set-up, registration processes and general administration duties.
- To ensure all sessions are delivered in line with safeguarding, health & safety procedures, and organisational policies.
- To take appropriate action to prevent accidents/incidents and follow reporting procedures.
- To contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and organised environment throughout camp delivery.
- To work collaboratively with other coaches and staff to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- To carry out any other duties appropriate to the post, as required.
