Brio Digital are supporting a major digital transformation programme, and we\’re looking for a Principal Engineer / Technical Lead to play a key role in its delivery.
This is a chance to lead impactful, real-world work within a complex public sector environment – bringing technical leadership, strategic thinking, and a pragmatic approach to solving large-scale engineering challenges.
You\’ll provide direction and guidance across multidisciplinary teams, shaping technical solutions and ensuring the quality, scalability, and sustainability of the engineering output.
What We\’re Looking For

Deep expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, Azure DevOps (ADO), and particularly Microsoft Dynamics (essential).

Strong working knowledge of modern programming languages such as C#, .NET, Ruby, and Python.

A proven track record of leading large technical initiatives in agile environments, ideally within engineering or platform modernisation programmes.

The ability to operate confidently in complex enterprise IT environments, balancing innovation with practical delivery.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.

Prior experience working within the public sector or healthcare domains is highly desirable.
