Brio Digital is proud to be working with a leading public sector-focused consultancy who are on the look-out for a Solutions Architect with strong experience in Azure, C#, and cloud-native architecture. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in designing scalable, secure solutions that power critical services and have a direct impact on citizens across the UK.
Your Role
As a Solutions Architect, you’ll be responsible for leading the technical design of complex cloud-based systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, delivery leads, and stakeholders, to ensure the architecture supports both business and user needs. You’ll be involved from discovery through to delivery, supporting multiple programmes within the public sector, ensuring your solutions are robust, compliant with government standards, and future-proof.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in complex, enterprise-scale environments
- Strong background in Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services
- Proficiency in C#/.NET and modern software engineering practices
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, including security, scalability, and performance
- Experience designing solutions within public sector or GDS-aligned projects
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling (e.g. Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines)
- Knowledge of data architecture and integration patterns
- Experience with microservices or event-driven architecture
- Understanding of government frameworks and standards (e.g. GDS, NCSC)
