About the Role

Brio Digital are supporting a conusltancy who are on the look-out for a RoR Developer for a piece of work in the public sector where you\’ll play a key role in building, maintaining, and scaling our applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• Troubleshooting and debugging applications to ensure seamless performance.
• Optimising database queries and application performance.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Strong experience with Ruby on Rails.

✅ Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React or Vue is a plus).

✅ Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

✅ Familiarity with RESTful APIs and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

✅ A problem-solving mindset and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.

✅ Experience with TDD/BDD and Agile methodologies is a plus.
