We’re looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to take a lead role in building, automating, and supporting cloud-native infrastructure within the NHS/public sector. You’ll be key to ensuring our platforms are secure, scalable, and observable — driving automation and reliability across systems that directly support healthcare delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and managing Kubernetes clusters (including Helm chart configuration).
- Building and automating AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
- Implementing and maintaining observability solutions using Grafana & Prometheus.
- Administering Linux systems and developing automation scripts (Bash, Python).
- Championing DevOps best practice across teams.
- Collaborating with NHS stakeholders to ensure secure and compliant delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working within the NHS or wider public sector (healthcare focus preferred).
- Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes & Helm.
- Advanced AWS & Terraform skills for Infrastructure as Code.
- Proven track record with observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus).
- Strong Linux admin and scripting/automation skills.
Nice to Have
- CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Knowledge of cloud security & compliance best practices.
- Exposure to other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
