We are supporting a leading consultancy delivering critical digital services across the NHS, who are seeking a senior Product Lead / Head of Product & Delivery to play a pivotal role in one of the UK’s most high-profile public health programmes. This is a top-tier leadership role, sitting within the extended Senior Leadership Team, responsible for shaping and delivering digital strategy across national programmes.
As a Product Lead/Head of, you will operate at the intersection of product leadership and programme delivery, owning the end-to-end digital pathway for major initiatives. You will act as a programme-level leader, coordinating multiple delivery teams and aligning digital services with wider operational readiness across the NHS ecosystem. This is a cross-cutting, highly visible role, requiring exceptional stakeholder engagement at senior and director level.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end vaccination digital pathway, ensuring alignment across product, delivery, and operational teams
- Own and drive the programme roadmap, coordinating multiple workstreams across digital services
- Engage with senior NHS stakeholders and leadership forums, including SLT ceremonies and Vaccination Delivery Group
- Produce high-quality presentations, reports, and strategic updates (PowerPoint-led)
- Define and track key product metrics, including uptake, performance, and delivery risks
- Align digital delivery with wider business and operational readiness (e.g. pharmacy expansion programmes)
- Act as the central coordination point across suppliers, delivery teams, and stakeholders
- Proven experience as a Product Lead / Head of Product / Programme Lead within complex, large-scale environments
- Strong background in both product management and delivery leadership (hybrid skillset essential)
- Experience working within NHS, public sector, or large-scale health programmes
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging at senior/director level
- Ability to create business cases, define value, and track outcomes/metrics
- Strong organisational and coordination capabilities across multiple teams and programmes
- Experience working on public health initiatives
- Knowledge of pharmacy / community pharmacy delivery models
- Familiarity with NHS suppliers
- Experience using dashboarding tools such as Tableau or Power BI
