We're looking for an experienced
Test Manager to lead quality assurance across a large-scale digital transformation programme.
You'll be responsible for defining the overall testing strategy, leading a team of Quality Engineers, and ensuring quality is embedded throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in test management, automation and stakeholder engagement who enjoys leading teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the overall test strategy across multiple workstreams.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Quality Engineers.
- Drive the adoption of test automation, with a strong focus on Playwright.
- Establish testing standards, processes, KPIs and quality metrics.
- Oversee test planning, execution, defect management and reporting.
- Work closely with engineering, product and delivery teams to ensure quality is built into every stage of development.
- Identify risks, remove blockers and continuously improve testing practices.
- Provide regular reporting and quality insights to senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a
Test Manager on large-scale Agile transformation programmes.
- Strong background in test strategy, test management and quality assurance.
- Hands-on knowledge of test automation frameworks, particularly
Playwright .
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing QA/Test Engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of the full software testing lifecycle.
- Experience working with modern CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within large enterprise or retail environments.
- Knowledge of testing process improvement and quality engineering best practices.
- Experience working across multiple teams within complex delivery programmes.
