They are now hiring a Head of AI to help them advance the next generation of Visual AI, achieving production-level performance for mobile and edge environments at scale.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the roadmap for applied computer vision models, from synthetic training pipelines to real-time inference, optimised for diverse retail and CPG use cases.
- Oversee development across detection and recognition tasks, ensuring low-latency, high-accuracy performance under varied shelf conditions.
- Expand and refine our synthetic data generation strategies, enhancing generalisation through domain adaptation and robust pre-training.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Infrastructure, and Customer teams to ensure seamless field deployment.
- Grow and mentor a team focused on scalable architectures and automation.
- Drive the design of a highly generalisable large vision model optimised for dynamic retail environments.
Ideal Profile
- Proven experience shipping ML models into production, preferably on mobile or edge platforms.
