We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Technical Logistics Support professional to join our Technical Services team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of logistics across the business - managing stock, coordinating shipments, and supporting technical equipment processes. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has both technical awareness and strong logistical coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and dispatch of technical equipment
- Manage warehouse operations, ensuring organisation, safety, and efficiency
- Maintain accurate stock levels and oversee regular stock checks and asset tracking
- Ensure timely dispatch of parts and equipment in line with SLAs/KPIs
- Act as a point of contact for couriers and third-party logistics providers
- Support transportation planning, including cost analysis and logistics solutions
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers to resolve logistical issues
- Log faults and coordinate repairs for technical equipment (e.g., routers)
- Assist with equipment configuration and repairs when required
- Ensure proper waste disposal and decommissioning in line with health & safety policies
- Monitor stock at forward locations to support operational demand
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A*-C) or equivalent
- Strong IT literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Good understanding of TCP/IP and basic network setup
- Previous experience in a technical or warehouse/stores environment
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
