We build a sense of belonging, so all employees feel respected, safe, and valued, and we provide equal opportunity to participate and grow.

We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Project Management Office Leader to join our team in the UK or Ireland. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all large-scale customer implementations—spanning hardware, software, managed services transitions, and operational takeovers—are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope across multiple regions and vendor ecosystems, contributing to our ongoing success and strategic goals. As part of the Global AMS Solutions team, you will combine strategic leadership with operational rigor. You will be accountable for establishing and continuously improving the project management framework, tools, and methodologies that enable consistent, high-quality delivery of complex, multi-party programs worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and lead the global PMO strategy, aligning complex AMS programmes to business strategy, commercial outcomes, and client commitments.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing, global PMO team (Project Managers and Implementation Leads), building capability, accountability, and delivery excellence.
  • Own end‑to‑end governance of large, multi‑country programmes, involving multiple vendors, technologies, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Act as executive escalation point for delivery risks, dependencies, financial performance, and cross‑region challenges.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across AMS, country operations, clients, and vendors to align priorities, resources, and execution.
  • Drive disciplined delivery management, ensuring strong control of scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and programme financials.
  • Establish consistent reporting, KPIs, and dashboards to provide clear executive visibility and support data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Evolve and embed a scalable global PM framework, including governance, change control, risk management, and delivery standards.
  • Ensure smooth transition from implementation to operations, with full handover, performance continuity, and benefits realisation.
  • Support growth activities, contributing delivery expertise to bids, pre‑sales, solution design, and delivery risk assessments.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Project Manager, with proven leadership of a PMO function overseeing multiple Project Managers and a broad, complex project portfolio.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large‑scale technology or managed‑services programmes within payments, banking, financial services, or fintech environments (experience in these sectors is essential).
  • Experience operating within complex, multinational and multi‑region organisations.
  • Strong track record managing multi‑vendor portfolios, coordinating delivery across diverse partners and third‑party providers.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification required.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at executive level.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally and work across multiple time zones as required.

What you can expect:

  • This is a high‑impact leadership role with overall responsibility for the governance and delivery of large‑scale, global programmes across Brink’s AMS organisation.
  • You will sit at the centre of complex technology, payments, and managed‑services initiatives, directly influencing operational performance and client outcomes worldwide.
  • A competitive salary and benefits package, aligned with the local market.
  • The opportunity to lead and shape our PMO function, influencing how complex programmes are delivered across multiple regions and clients.
  • A pivotal role supporting strategic growth, transformation, and operational excellence within Brink’s ATM Managed Services business.
  • High visibility with senior leadership, clients, and strategic vendors, with scope to influence decisions at an enterprise level.
  • The chance to work in a global, multicultural environment, managing programmes across countries, time zones, and delivery partners.
  • An environment where you can set standards, build capability, and leave a lasting impact on how projects and programmes are delivered at scale.
