We are seeking a highly commercial and strategically minded Finance Director to join NoteMachine UK at a pivotal stage of growth and transformation. Reporting to the CFO of Brinks Global ATM, this is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the financial strategy, ensuring robust financial control, and driving sustainable business performance. The successful candidate will act as a key partner to the General Manager and executive team, combining strong technical expertise with the ability to influence strategic decisions and deliver measurable value across the organisation. This is a hybrid role with the expectation that the successful candidate will attend the Crickhowell office as a minimum of twice a week during the probation period with more flexibility going forward. This role will also require ad hoc international travel.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and deliver financial strategy aligned to business objectives and growth plans
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide insight-driven decision support
  • Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and risk mitigation frameworks
  • Oversee accurate, timely financial reporting in line with IFRS/US GAAP
  • Monitor financial performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement
  • Optimise capital structure, liquidity, and investment decisions
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Manage audit processes and maintain strong relationships with external auditors
  • Drive a culture of commercial awareness and financial accountability across the business

What we are looking for:

  • Proven track record as a Finance Director (or equivalent) within a similarly sized, complex organisation
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate financial insight into strategic growth initiatives
  • Experience operating within a matrix structure, managing multiple reporting lines and stakeholder accountabilities
  • Highly effective communicator, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels with a tailored approach
  • Demonstrated success working in environments undergoing significant transformation and change
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry, especially cash management and ATM services would be advantageous but not essential
  • Experience working in a multinational or diverse business environment
