Responsibilities
β Analyze large, complex data sets representing the behavior within millions of game plays to address strategic and operational business questions
β Carefully extract conclusions from the data and provide actionable recommendations to shape features, game economies, and product development
β Work with the marketing department to standardize measurement and build predictive ROAS models
β Build automated data pipelines, dashboards and reports to meaningfully visualize key performance indicators
β Coordinate with other departments to execute live-ops and promotions
β Develop ML models and tools to ensure data influences decisions at all levels
β Present your findings frequently to inform the studio and support team-membersβ decision making
β Research new tools and techniques in the ML/AI space to enhance player experiences and improve internal efficiencies
Requirements
β 6+ years of analytical work experience, of which 4+ in the online gaming industry
β Excellent English communication skills, written and oral
β BA/B.Sc. in Statistics/Math/Engineering/Economics or another quantitative field
β Strong SQL capabilities and experience in querying large, complex data sets
β A methodological approach to data together with the ability to present the data clearly and efficiently to support business decisions
β Experience with BI Visualization tools (Tableau/Looker/Quicksight) – must have
β Advanced knowledge in statistical tools and models (Python, R, advanced statistical tools)
β Great communication skills β you clearly describe data to people from all departments
β A true passion for understanding consumersβ social gaming behavior and tolerance for ambiguity
