Brindley MG are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our team at our busy workshop in Wolverhampton. We require an individual who holds a level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance. The successful candidate will be required to carry out careful inspections, repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles, whilst being able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge to ensure any diagnosis work is carried out to a high standard. Due to the nature of the work, the candidates must also hold a clean, full UK driving license. Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out detailed Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs)
  • Performing mechanical and electrical repairs on customer vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
  • Carrying out servicing and maintenance work in line with manufacturer standards
  • Road testing vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy
  • Completing manufacturer inspection check sheets accurately
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
  • Supporting the wider aftersales team in delivering excellent customer satisfaction

This role requires someone who can combine technical expertise with efficiency, professionalism and adaptability. We are looking for a technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys working as part of a team and wants to continue developing their skills within a modern dealership environment.

About You

  • Must hold a Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle repair
  • Excellent attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
  • Strong ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
  • Confident using diagnostic equipment and workshop systems
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Motivated, reliable and team-focused attitude
