Brindley Group are looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join the team at their Nissan Service Centre located on Delta Way Cannock. We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle maintenance and repair. The candidate needs to be highly experienced in diagnosing complicated faults and repairing them.

Salary: £39,000 Basic Per Year plus uncapped bonus (Explained on interview stage)

Work week: Monday-Friday 8.30-17.00pm NO WEEKENDS (40 hour week)

Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on Nissan vehicles
  • Perform routine servicing, including oil changes, brake inspections, tyre replacements and general maintenance work
  • Carry out complicated repairs such as engine faults, A/C issues, transmission issues, etc.
  • Carry out electrical repairs
  • Maintain detailed records of all work carried out in accordance with company standards
  • Assist technicians by providing guidance and sharing technical expertise
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
  • Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe at all times

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing a broad range of complicated vehicle issues such as engine faults and electrical issues
  • Previous experience working with diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Personal Tools (Preferred)
  • MOT Licence Preferred but not essential
  • Nissan experience advantageous but not essential
