Job Introduction

The Brindley Group is seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join our busy Group Operations Centre in Featherstone, near Wolverhampton.

The role involves conducting detailed inspections of vehicles before delivery, using diagnostic equipment for road tests, and performing basic mechanical maintenance. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, with a keen eye for detail, and capable of ensuring vehicle safety and quality.

About the role

1. Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections
2. Identify faults/damage and record findings electronically
3. Perform road tests to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
4. Check and top up oil and water levels
5. Carry out basic vehicle maintenance
6. Use manufacturer warranty systems to support inspections
7. Follow manufacturer inspection check sheets

About you

1. Experience in a similar role
2. Basic understanding of mechanical repairs and excellent attention to detail
3. Ability to work efficiently with high vehicle throughput
4. Strong workload management skills
