We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Infrastructure Manager to take technical ownership of our cloud environments, cybersecurity posture, and information security frameworks.
The
Role: In this senior, hands-on technical leadership position, you will report directly to company leadership.
You will be fully responsible for keeping our infrastructure robust and secure, ensuring our estate remains aligned with strict industry compliance frameworks whilst supporting our ongoing business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure & Cloud: Manage and optimise multi-server business environments hosted on AWS, oversee network performance, and manage secure cloud storage repositories.
- Cybersecurity & Threat Monitoring: Design and maintain corporate security protocols, utilizing vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and automated patch management tools.
- Framework
Compliance: Maintain corporate information security management system (ISMS) documentation, oversee change control processes, and guide the business through internal and external audit cycles.
- Data Governance & Web
Admin: Enforce strict data retention and disposal policies in line with UK data protection regulations, whilst overseeing the secure maintenance of corporate web servers and content management systems (Word Press).
Essential Skills & Experience
- 6 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or network administration.
- Strong, hands-on expert knowledge of AWS cloud environments (essential requirement).
- Proven track record of managing server infrastructure and mitigating information security risks.
- Hands-on experience maintaining framework documentation, auditing, and change control (e. g., ISO or equivalent industry security standards).
- Confident translating technical risks into clear, actionable advice for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with secure web server management and routine CMS patching.
Desirable Skills (Not Essential but a Plus)
- Prior experience within the legal sector, an e Disclosure provider, or a compliance-heavy professional services firm.
- Familiarity with strict data privacy obligations (GDPR) regarding infrastructure storage.
- Understanding of electronic document management and enterprise data hosting services.
- Experience with or exposure to e Disclosure document review platforms, such as Relativity or similar enterprise hosting environments.
