e Discovery Project Manager
We are a fast growing Ai/Technology driven e Discovery provider seeking an experienced e Discovery Project Manager to oversee comprehensive e Discovery processes in response to legal, regulatory, and internal investigations.
This role is crucial for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including legal, IT, and external vendors, managing the identification, collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
A strong understanding of AI solutions and the ability to communicate these effectively to legal teams will be paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple e Discovery projects from inception to completion, managing scoping, planning, budgeting, and execution phases.
- Ensure compliance with timelines, project goals, and budgetary constraints.
- Manage document review, analysis, and production processes.
- Design and implement effective processing and review workflows.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to project stakeholders and maintain a system for quality control to ensure accuracy.
- Stay updated on O365 developments to enhance workflow processes.
- Train attorneys, legal assistants, and support staff on e Discovery case management systems and applications.
- Document work performed on litigation-related data and uphold client confidentiality.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise while adhering to e Discovery data management policies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in e Discovery project management or litigation support.
- Proven track record across the full EDRM lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on leading client communications and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Proficient in workflow design and process improvement.
- Relativity certification (RCA preferred) is required; a degree in law or IT-related fields is ideal.
- Familiarity with standard MS Office tools is necessary.
Added desirable Skills
- Certifications or advanced knowledge in tools like; Nuix Discover and Nuix Workstation or Rel One.
- Scripting or coding capability and experience using LLMs for legal review.
- Basic knowledge of digital forensics and strong analytical skills in Excel/SQL.
