The Langdale Estate is a 36‑acre woodland estate boasting a range of holiday accommodation nestled in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Stove Restaurant and Bar
The heart of the Langdale Estate, Stove is at the centre of our social epicurean experiences. Log fires, lighting scenes and curated playlists set the tone for a fun, friendly and thoughtful guest experience delivered by a fun, friendly and thoughtful team. The service style is informal and relaxed, yet utterly professional and knowledgeable. Open from breakfast, throughout the day, and late into the evening Stove aims to offer something for everyone; from celebrations with family and friends to first dates or fiftieth wedding anniversaries. Friday night craft beers and cocktails followed by Saturday morning hangover cures, or a comfy chair with coffee, cake, and a crossword. All are welcomed, all are catered for, and all are cared for.
Our Bar and Waiting Staff
Our Bar and Waiting staff are passionate about customer care, and knowledgeable about the products and service they offer to our guests. Our team thrives off delivering a fun dining experience to our guests and take pride in making a simple restaurant reservation into a wonderful lifelong memory.
Responsibilities
- Section Waiter – Take control of your own section of the restaurant or the Spa Deli and look after your guests from the start of their meal through to the final bill.
- Runner – Work with the kitchen team and bar staff to organise the delivery of dishes and drinks to guests.
- Bar – Prepare and serve drinks from our extensive drinks list for the bar area and for dining guests.
- Host – Be the welcome and the goodbye for all our guests, guiding them to their tables and taking reservations and room service orders.
Qualifications
If you have experience, fantastic! We’ll show you how we do things here and maybe you can teach us a trick or two. If you have no experience, that’s okay! We’ll guide you every step of the way until you’re a hospitality pro.
