Exceptional Account Managers build relationships. Great leaders build teams that grow revenue. We're partnering with a fast-growing global Employer of Record (EOR) and international payroll provider to appoint a Head of Account Management; a genuine player-manager who thrives on leading from the front.
This is not a role where you'll simply manage people. You'll inherit a team of five Account Managers and Strategic Account Managers while retaining ownership of a portfolio of strategic global clients. You'll coach, mentor and develop the team, whilst personally driving client retention, expansion and executive-level relationships.
We're looking for someone who sees Account Management as a commercial growth function, not simply a customer service team. You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a high-performing Account Management team.
- Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic international clients.
- Driving client retention, expansion revenue and Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
- Building executive-level relationships with global organisations.
- Embedding structured account planning, QBRs and commercial forecasting.
- Working cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Payroll and Sales to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven experience leading Account Management, Client Success or Strategic Accounts teams.
- A track record of retaining and growing enterprise B2B client portfolios.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating renewals, upsells and strategic growth opportunities.
- Experience within Employer of Record (EOR), Global Payroll, HR Technology, Workforce Solutions or Professional Services.
- A coaching mentality with the ability to develop high-performing teams whilst remaining hands-on with clients.
Why consider this opportunity?
- A genuine opportunity to shape and build a growing global Account Management function.
- High-profile international clients.
- Executive visibility and influence.
- A business investing heavily in technology, AI and global workforce solutions.
- Significant career progression as the organisation continues its growth journey.
If you enjoy building trusted client partnerships, leading from the front and creating commercial growth through exceptional account management, I'd love to have a confidential conversation.
