A leading technology and digital transformation organisation is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join its growing commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building long-term client partnerships while identifying new revenue opportunities across a portfolio of key accounts within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturing sector. The role combines strategic account development, new business growth, and senior stakeholder engagement, helping customers improve operational performance through innovative digital and automation solutions. This is a home-based role with regular travel across England and Wales to meet customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key customers
  • Build strong C-suite and senior stakeholder relationships within CPG manufacturing organisations
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities within existing and target accounts
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity creation through to deal closure
  • Lead complex negotiations and structure commercially strong agreements
  • Coordinate internal technical and delivery teams to ensure successful customer outcomes
  • Design innovative commercial solutions and value propositions for clients
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning
  • Capture and share customer success stories and market insights

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience in account management and business development
  • Strong background selling into the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturing sector
  • Ability to engage and present confidently at board and senior leadership level
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complex sales cycles
