Brilliant Relations, a boutique London-based PR agency specialising in B2B media relations, is looking for an editorial specialist to join our small but growing team. You will be working with clients across a diverse range of industries, ranging from financial services to marketing and advertising, payments, property, education, aviation, technology and language services.
The core focus of this job is writing copy for clients across a range of content types - a typical day might involve writing press releases, long-form thought leadership articles, award submissions, client blogs and LinkedIn copy. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to analyse client data to help craft stories.
We are looking for someone who enjoys writing and is also interested in developing and managing relationships with clients and media outlets over time. You will need demonstrable B2B writing experience and excellent storytelling skills. These may have been gained working at a B2B media outlet or at another agency, but are essential for this role.
You will be able to navigate the nuances of the B2B media environment, as well as confidently conduct interviews with clients and spot angles that are suitable for B2B publications. You will need to be confident liaising with everyone from company administrators through to the C-suite and you will need to be comfortable working closely with clients.
This job would be suited to a former journalist or similar with a desire to move into PR and we are open to candidates without PR experience so long as they are willing to learn about the business.
