We are looking for a talented General Cleaner to join our busy team. You will be responsible for preps and cleaning. We are looking for someone who can work under deadline pressure.
Key responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Maintain the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators.
- Wash dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or load dishes into the dishwasher.
- Wash all containers and utensils.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling.
- Clean the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day.
- Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and immaculate presentation.
- Work well within the team, communicating effectively with all necessary team members to ensure all preparation, closing down, and other associated tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report issues to superiors.
- Check products in the Kitchen unit area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Any other reasonable duties requested by your line manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is a plus but not essential.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
- Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and evenings.
