We have an excellent opportunity for a Transport Coordinator/Administrator to join our client, a well-established organisation at their offices in North Lanarkshire on an ongoing temporary basis. Supporting the Inventory Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and administration of all transport, acting as the key point of liaison with the 3rd party logistics partner.
Duties will include:
- Running daily reports and updating 3rd party logistics partner portal with key information
- Acting as the key point of liaison with external contacts and production
- Ensuring all loads and orders are fulfilled and dispatched within agreed service levels
- General administration duties as required
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working within a transport environment - experience working with SAP is beneficial but not essential
- Have a strong eye for detail
- Be confident working with all MS Office packages
- Be confident liaising with contacts across all levels - either in person, over the telephone or via email
- Be available to start immediately and able to commit to an ongoing temporary role
Working Days & Hours: Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm (potential for flexibility)
