Our client has an immediate requirement for additional Machine Operators to work in their manufacturing site in Stevenston. While initially starting on a temporary basis, these positions should move to permanent roles in due course.
Your Time at Work

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and process equipment.
  • Prepare, weigh, mix, and transfer materials in accordance with procedures.
  • Perform routine quality inspections and record production data.
  • Carry out manual handling of raw materials, products, and equipment.
  • Follow strict health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
  • Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
  • Report equipment faults, process issues, or safety concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all site regulations.

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures.
  • Physically capable of manual handling duties.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, disciplined, and proactive in identifying safety or process issues.
  • Willingness to undertake training and work within strict safety and security standards.

Key Information and Benefits

  • You will work early shift back shift weekly rotating pattern.
  • Early shift is Monday to Thursday and on Friday (41 hours)
  • Back shift is 14.15 - 22.15 Monday to Thursday (32 hours)
  • Β£16.35 per hr including shift allowance
  • Own transport is required due to shift work and site location.
