Job Title: Site Service Engineer Purpose of the Role: The Site Service Engineer should be a multiskilled engineer and will report into the Engineering Site Lead/ Engineering Manager. They will be expected to carry out engineering/maintenance tasks to support the engineering department, taking up the bulk of the active time on site in the role. The Site Service Engineer will also manage the engineering stores with timeous stock checks and replenishment and will carry out the daily and weekly site services checks. In maintaining the engineering stores the coordinator will be liaising with suppliers and contractors to ensure the timely delivery of spare parts and consumables. The role will be responsible for the upkeep of the purchase requisition system (IFS), including ordering, purchase order creation, distribution, and maintenance of relevant documentation. Creation and upkeep of a critical spares list is essential to ensure operational efficiency.
