We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Van Driver to join our team at our client's busy logistics operation based in Renfrew. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and fast-paced Warehouse team, supporting deliveries and warehouse operations within a small, friendly group. This role is ideal for individuals looking to combine their van driving and warehouse experience, who are comfortable working with IT systems. This is a full-time day shift position working weekdays, Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm with no weekends required. The pay for this role is £13.80 per hour, paid weekly.
Your Time at Work
- Driving company van up to 4 times per week
- Delivery scheduling & query handling
- Dealing with the clients face to face & on the phone
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Assisting team members with picking, packing, and processing tasks to increase overall warehouse efficiency
- Complying with workplace health and safety measures to minimize operational risk
- Stock management, replenishment, and rotation
- Occasional travel to other sites in Glenrothes/Dundee for holiday cover may also be required (transport will be provided for this).
