Brightwork’s client is currently recruiting a Project Engineer who will play a part in the development of new products that meet the ever-changing needs of their specialist market. You will be responsible for conducting design, development and test work on projects involving gas and electrical appliances including heat exchangers, hydrogen appliances and other emerging low carbon technologies. Responsibilities Product testing, development & design in accordance with international standards Problem solving and delivering innovative technical solutions in a timely manner Client liaison, report preparation and presentation Develop and produce manufacturing test procedures, users and installation documentation Work with external organisations such as test agencies, component suppliers and trial sites Qualifications and Experience: Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in engineering or a scientific discipline, ideally with relevant hands-on experience in a development laboratory or research environment Knowledge or experience with domestic or commercial gas, oil, or electrical appliances This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing business.
