This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a highly regarded organisation known for providing the highest standards of services to their blue chip client base.
You will have a key role in ensuring the effective management and control of UK wide weekend warehouse operations, responsible for delivering a first-class professional service across all client organisations.
The role involves managing weekend warehouse operations, with hours based over 27 hours within the timeframe of 6am – 6pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with flexibility required during peak operational periods.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing all warehouse operational activities to ensure the highest standards of service provision are delivered at all times.
- Meeting company targets in relation to quality, delivery, and cost.
- Working closely with all internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Operational management of weekend warehouse staff.
- Managing and controlling materials supply to ensure consistent availability for operational requirements.
- Maintaining the highest standards of work environment and health and safety at all times.
You will have an in-depth background and experience managing all areas of warehouse and associated operations within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You should be a natural people leader, having led and supported lean/continuous improvement activities across all areas of warehousing.
Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have first-class customer-facing experience and be well-versed in leading and managing client engagement.
