The client This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Materials and Logistics Scheduler with an outstanding organisation within a dynamic and highly regulated environment.

The role – Terminal and Logistics Scheduler You will have a key role in ensuring the effective management and control of Terminal Scheduling and associated operational activities within a dynamic materials control, logistics and transport operation and will be responsible for ensuring all scheduling activities meet company, client and industry / regulatory requirements.

Your wide-ranging role duties and responsibilities will include

  • Ensuring all scheduling is undertaken to meet sitewide operational requirements.
  • Ensuring all scheduling activities meet company targets in relation to delivery, quality and cost.
  • Operational liaison with all internal and external stakeholders in relation to daily and weekly scheduling
  • Production and update of sitewide scheduling plan
  • Ensure all materials and logistics organisational KPIs and SLAs are achieved.

You will have an in-depth background and experience as a Materials and Logistics Scheduler and Planner within a dynamic shipping and logistics environment – previous experience within a Port, Terminal or similar environment preferred.

You will be well versed in effectively utilising scheduling and stock control software to ensure all operational scheduling activities meet companywide targets.

You will possess excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills.

Previous experience of fuel quality regulations, shipping and tankage would be a distinct advantage.
