Brightwork are recruiting for Catering Assistants & Cleaners to work across Glasgow and the surrounding area in Schools, Nurseries and Care Homes.
We have a number of shifts available across weekends, weekdays and on an ad-hoc basis.
Joining initially on a temporary basis, there maybe chance of permanency for the right workers.
Please note, that due to the regulated nature of these working environments, the successful candidates will be required to have a current PVG membership or be willing to apply for membership. Any PVG applications or updates would be payable by the successful candidate.
Your Time at Work
Working within busy environments, these may include schools, nurseries, day centres and care homes.
Duties will include:
- Preparation of hot and cold foods - following temperature guidelines
- Serving food in line with hygiene procedures
- Cleaning of kitchen, equipment and work areas
- Assisting with the ordering of supplies, stock control and rotation
- Cleaning of general areas including hoovering, dusting and mopping of floors
- Empying bins and recycling appropriately
- Cleaning areas such as kitchens and bathrooms
- Working to set H&S standards when using equipment and cleaning materials
- General duties as required
