Due to a period of significant growth our client is currently recruiting a Senior Production Manager, who will oversee the production process, whilst ensuring production processes run safely, efficiently and are reliable to achieve cost, delivery, and quality targets. You will be responsible for identifying training and development opportunities within the team to improve skill levels and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Meeting Production Cost, Delivery and Quality Targets
- Advance planning of resources to ensure targets can be met
- Planning and ensuring line set up
- Managing & Developing People
- Coaching and development of team
- Ensure that clear professional standards for the site are set and achieved - behavioural and performance.
- Developing a quality focused culture
- Ensuring that teams know, understand, and meet quality requirements
- Checking good quality of information and communication with staff at all levels
- To organise production trials as required
- To oversee the maintenance and reliability of all machinery and equipment
- To oversee the engineering and site maintenance / security
- Developing a continuous improvement strategy
- Leading teams on Lean / 5S projects
Experience
- Proven experience in a food or drink production environment - ESSENTIAL
- Must have experience working to BRC standards
