Brightwork are recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic for a well-established, privately owned company based in Glasgow. This is a weekdays only role, offering an excellent work–life balance, with no evenings, nights or weekends required.

You'll be part of a small onsite maintenance team, responsible for the upkeep of an in-house fleet of Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles. This is a steady, well-organised environment, not breakdown cover or shift-based work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Fault diagnosis and mechanical/electrical repairs
  • MOT preparation and compliance checks
  • Maintaining vehicle safety and roadworthiness
  • Working collaboratively within a small engineering team
  • Adhering to all health & safety standards
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as an HGV / Truck / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
  • Experience working on Class 1 and/or Class 2 vehicles
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications or strong time-served experience
  • Able to work independently with a practical, hands-on approach
