Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Join a modern, purpose-built facility and play a key role in maintaining and improving state-of-the-art automated packaging and production equipment. Working alongside the Technical Manager and wider engineering team, you'll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and continuous improvement activities to ensure maximum equipment reliability and site performance. Full training will be provided on new high-speed packaging machinery.
Shift Pattern:
Rotating Early (6am to 2pm) and Back Shift (2pm to 10pm), Monday to Friday, with participation in an on-call rota and paid overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on automated production and site equipment.
- Complete PPM schedules using the CMMS system.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, safe isolation procedures and site standards.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Work closely with colleagues, contractors and site stakeholders to maintain operational performance.
Skills & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 qualified engineer (or equivalent) with 18th Edition certification.
