Brightwork is recruiting for Temporary Class 1 HGV drivers for a client based in Livingston. Experience in a prior multi-drop Class 1 position will be required for this role.

Your Time at Work

  • This role mainly consists of class 1 store deliveries.
  • Transporting goods to various retail store locations across Scotland.
  • Guarantee punctual and secure deliveries of products, while strictly following traffic and safety protocols.
  • Loading and unloading cages using a tail lift.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to organise deliveries and achieve deadlines with effectiveness.
  • Accurately document deliveries and fulfil paperwork obligations.
  • Liaise with store staff providing a high level of customer service.

Our Perfect Worker

  • Experience required:
  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence with relevant CPC certification and Tacho card.
  • Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver.
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance.
  • Customer service and communication skills for liaising with customers and other team members.

You will be required to pass a driving assessment before starting in this role.

Key Information and Benefits

  • 12 hour shifts starting between 5am and 9am, on a rota covering 5 days out of 7.
