We are recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team at our client's busy logistics operation in Cambuslang. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work with a well-established operation.

The role involves store and home deliveries, with a porter accompanying you at all times. Heavy lifting will be required, including kitchen appliances, worktops, flooring, and other items into properties, which could include 3rd or 4th floor flats. A good level of fitness is required.

This is a full-time position working Tuesday to Saturday, starting between 6am and 7am each day, with potential for overtime paid at time and a half after 48 hours. The pay rate for this role is £16.73 per hour.

Your Time at Work

  • Driving a class 2 vehicle for deliveries to stores and homes
  • Manual handling and lifting of heavy goods with the assistance of a porter
  • Providing good customer service to end-users
  • Ensuring all loads are secure and legally compliant
  • Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
  • Following all on site and road safety regulations
