The client This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor, Glasgow / Hybrid based, within an innovative and dynamic consultancy with sustained year-on-year companywide growth and an exceptionally strong pipeline of secured projects an award-winning consultancy.
The role Working alongside experienced Chartered Surveyors, you will gain exposure to a broad range of projects and have the opportunity to lead and manage projects from feasibility studies, bid support and award and through all construction / development to handover and post-handover support.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking a range of building surveying services including feasibility studies, producing specifications, obtaining estimates, obtaining statutory approvals and administering contracts for a broad range of UK wide projects
- Working across several projects in different sectors and across new-build, development, refurbishment, improvement and modernisation projects
- Using and applying standard forms of building contracts
- Client engagement
- Contractor and sub-contractor engagement and on-going relationship development
- Supporting the senior managers in their day-to-day activities
Degree qualified, you will ideally have recently enrolled or intend enrolling for APC, seeking to build and develop a career within a dynamic, expanding consultancy. Possessing strong communication and report-writing skills, you will be a diligent and detail-oriented individual. A full UK driving licence is essential, previous industry experience would be a distinct advantage.
