We're recruiting reliable and customer-focused drivers to join our client's busy home delivery operation in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent full-time work until end of February and the potential for a permanent position.
Your Time at Work
As part of a two-person delivery team, you'll be responsible for delivering a variety of retail products directly to customers' homes, including:
- Furniture
- Televisions
- White Goods
- Household appliances
- Other large retail items
You'll play a key role in ensuring every customer receives a professional, safe, and efficient delivery experience.
Our Perfect Worker
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- A valid Category C1 (7.5T) or Class 2 (Category C) licence
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A valid Driver CPC / DQC Card
- Previous home delivery or multidrop experience (preferred)
- Good geographical knowledge of Glasgow and the Central Belt road network
- Excellent customer service skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude
Key Information and Benefits:
- Enhanced £18.00 per hour PAYE (excluding holiday pay accrual)
- Guaranteed 41-hour weekly pay, even if you finish your route early
- 4-day working week - Wednesday to Saturday
- 6:00am to 5:00pm shift pattern
- Free on-site parking
- Potential to become a permanent employee, with access to additional company benefits and bonuses
- Optional 5th shift available between October and January to maximise your earnings during peak season
