We are supporting a growing property business in their search for an experienced Property Manager to join its Edinburgh team. This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional looking for greater ownership, autonomy and long-term career progression.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of residential properties
- Acting as the primary contact for landlords and tenants
- Coordinating repairs, maintenance and contractor works
- Ensuring properties remain compliant with current Scottish legislation and safety requirements
- Managing tenancy lifecycles from application through to check-out
- Conducting rent reviews and overseeing tenancy renewals
- Supporting new property onboarding and portfolio growth
- Handling complaints and dispute resolution professionally and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate property records and documentation
- Carrying out property inspections and attending viewings when required
- Participating in an out-of-hours emergency on-call rota and occasional Saturday rota
About You
- Previous experience in residential property management
- Strong knowledge of Scottish private rented sector legislation
- Understanding of HMO regulations (preferred)
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- High attention to detail and strong administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Full UK driving licence
- Property qualifications are desirable (ARLA, LETWELL, SafeAgent or equivalent).
