The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 Β£ per hour.
This role is being advertised by Brightwork who are recruiting for our prestigious client based in the Gyle area of Edinburgh. We require a Temporary Part Time Facilities Assistant for our client's site. The duration of this role is circa 9 months (however this could be extended).
Your Time at Work
Hours of work are 28.8 hours, Monday to Friday which consists of Monday 0730-1248, Tuesday to Friday 0730-1400. The post holder will also be required to participate in weekend and public holiday on-call rota as part of this post and to support cover for staff absence, therefore an element of flexibility is required.
This position will predominantly be based in Domestic Services; however, the post holder will also be required to work across all Facilities services which entails Reception, Mailroom, Catering and Domestic services as required, once suitably trained.

Desirable skills for this role include:
- Driving Licence.
- Previous experience in Catering environment.
- Experience in Domestic Services environment.
- Good knowledge of HACCP.
- Previous NHS/Council experience.
- Previous knowledge of cleaning monitoring systems/auditing.
- Previous knowledge of CCTV and access control systems.
- Experience using switchboard/reception duties.
- Level 2 in food safety.
- National workbooks for catering/portering, cleaning.
