Brightwork's client is currently recruiting an Area Sales Manager who will cover the Midlands and the North of England.

Responsibilities:

  • Repeat selling to an established customer base as well as generating new business.
  • Proactively managing accounts.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key accounts and Buying Groups across the UK.
  • Owning, hitting or exceeding annual sales targets and key milestones from a personal and company perspective.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrating a strong willingness to grow, lead and manage the sales territory.
  • Ensuring that the sales process and CRM are maintained from a key account and customer service perspective.
  • Strong journey planning and account management experience.

Sales Experience:

  • Proven ability in selling timber or building products.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience of selling timber products into the builders' merchant sector - ESSENTIAL.
  • Good communication skills are essential as well as the ability to deal with people at all levels of the organisation up to Director level.
  • Personable and confident.

Due to the size of the territory, there will be some nights away covering the territory as well as site and customer visits.
