Brightwork are currently recruiting for a senior/process operator on behalf of our client, a global leader within FMCG. This is a Full-Time, Temporary ongoing position. The successful candidate will work within the company's Bio-Energy site in Fife. Becoming a vital member of the team you will be tasked with monitoring the conditions and adjusting controls associated with the Bio-Energy aqueous treatment plant.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure optimum efficiency and reliability of plant equipment.
  • Inspection and housekeeping of plant equipment.
  • Monitoring conditions and adjusting controls.
  • Working in all weather conditions.
  • Manual handling responsibilities.
  • Other duties deemed relevant to role.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous process experience, preferably from a control room environment.
  • Previous experience operating SCADA systems.
  • Experience of isolations, monitoring process parameters and plant inspection & walkarounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This role is initially covering weekday hours, Monday - Thursday (08.00 - 16.45) and Fridays (08.00 - 13.30), before moving onto day/night shifts, 4 on 4 off, after successful training.
