Senior Payroll Advisor Paisley (Hybrid Working - 1 Day from Home)Permanent | Full-Time Brightwork are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a Senior Payroll Advisor .
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a busy and collaborative team, supporting the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services across the business.
Working closely with the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring compliance with legislation, maintaining payroll system integrity, and providing excellent support to employees and stakeholders.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong technical payroll knowledge, and enjoys identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities Support the end-to-end delivery of monthly payrolls, ensuring accurate processing of pay, overtime, deductions and statutory payments.
Validate payroll data, timesheets and approvals while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with HMRC, PAYE, RTI, pension, GDPR and other statutory requirements.
Support payroll audits, reporting and year-end processes.
Assist with payroll system administration, troubleshooting and process improvements.
Act as a key point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing support to employees and stakeholders.
Administer pensions, auto-enrolment, employee benefits, reimbursements and statutory payments including SSP, SMP and SPP.
About You We are looking for an experienced payroll professional who can demonstrate: Previous experience in a Payroll Advisor or Senior Payroll Advisor position.
A strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
Experience processing end-to-end payrolls within a complex business environment.
Knowledge of payroll systems.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and general IT proficiency.
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain payroll information clearly.
