Due to continued expansion and increased demand, we are recruiting for an experienced and commercially focused Management Accountant to join their finance team at their Carryduff site.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a successful and ambitious organisation where you will play a pivotal role in delivering financial insight, supporting strategic decision-making and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will act as a key member of the finance team, bridging the gap between transactional accounting and high-level financial reporting while partnering with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities Lead the monthly financial close process, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.

Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and commentary.

Deliver insightful reporting and analysis on COGS, inventory and operating expenses.

Monitor cash flow performance and support the preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial planning activities.

Support year-end accounting processes and liaise with external auditors.

Ensure compliance with VAT, payroll and statutory reporting requirements.

Work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders, providing meaningful financial analysis to support business decisions.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, controls and reporting capabilities.

About You Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, although strong part-qualified or qualified-by-experience candidates will also be considered.

Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Analyst or similar role.

Experience within a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment is essential.

Strong understanding of management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

Solid knowledge of UK VAT and statutory compliance requirements.

Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs and analytical reporting.

Experience working with ERP systems.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

Highly organised, proactive and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
