Our client is recruiting Forklift drivers for their industrial plant where you will be responsible for moving, lifting, loading and unloading materials whilst adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a counterbalance forklift to lift and transport materials to designated areas.
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials and ensuring they are directed to the correct streams.
  • Monitoring and controlling continuous flow of materials in the factory.

Safety and Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly those relating to forklift including conducting routine inspections and maintenance of the forklift. Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets, supporting overall operational efficiency.

Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised working environment, ensuring work areas are free of hazards. This is not an exhaustive list. You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Previous experience in an industrial management environment.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and moving equipment.
