Our client is currently recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their mobile team in the Bristol area. In this position, you'll provide essential maintenance services to clients at their sites, with a company vehicle provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, repair and planned preventative maintenance of air conditioning systems.
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety procedures across all contracts.
- Collaborate effectively with the Contract Manager, Contract Administrator, Supervisor, Helpdesk and Engineers.
- Stay informed on industry standards and best practices to ensure systems remain compliant with current developments.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
- Prepare and provide quotations for repairs or as requested by the client.
Qualifications/Experience
- City and Guilds NVQ Diploma Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning as a minimum.
- Previous experience in maintenance, repair and installation of air conditioning units, including VRF units.
- Ability to perform manual tasks including manual handling, working at height and in confined spaces as well as willingness to participate in the on-call rota.
- Full UK Driving licence is essential.
- Self-motivated and solutions focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
