Brightwork are currently recruiting for opportunities to work with Brown-Forman at their picturesque Glendronach Distillery in Aberdeenshire on an ongoing, temporary basis.

The Glendronach Distillery is a historic Scotch whisky distillery, founded in 1826, renowned for its richly sherried single malts matured in Spanish oak casks. It is celebrated for traditional production methods and deep, complex flavour profiles.

Your Time at Work

You will be responsible for bringing to life the stories and craft of the distillery with passion and enthusiasm - giving visitors an immersive and engaging experience at the distillery. This role requires you to provide first class customer service. From warmly greeting visitors, to hosting tours, and working within retail as a product expert, you will also be involved in the preparation and serving of high quality drink in the bar area and ensuring hygiene standards are maintained throughout the Visitor Centre. With events throughout the year, you will be part of the planning and execution, building relationships with customers and working in an incredible industry full of pride and passion.

Our Perfect Worker

Successful candidates will have experience within a customer facing role in either retail or hospitality, and will be confident and professional when interacting with guests. Full training will be provided with no previous whisky industry experience required. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in whisky and distilling.

Key Information and Benefits

This is a full time position working 4-5 days out of 7, with shifts usually between the hours of 0930 - 17:30. Occasional evening shifts may be required for events. Pay for the role is £13.50 per hour, paid each Friday a week in arrears.
