Our client, a specialist equipment manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Control Panel Wirer to join their team in East Kilbride on a permanent basis.
Your Time at Work
- Carry out wiring, mechanical assembly, and component installation for electrical control systems and cabinets.
- Interpret and work from circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Assemble and install components inside electrical control panels and systems.
- Communicate and coordinate efficiently with the engineering department.
- Undertake wiring tasks for electrical control systems and enclosures.
- Operate both autonomously and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Contribute to team efforts and apply 5S/Lean manufacturing principles.
Our Perfect Worker
- Ability to follow electrical and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Experience with electrical schematics or engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of soldering, cable assembly, and wiring techniques using tools such as crimping tool.
- Previous experience as a Panel Wireman in the manufacturing sector is essential.
- Electrical qualifications desirable.
